Presenting live audience data visualisations for the BBC

The team at BBC’s Click program approached us to participate in their first live televised program showcasing the best in emerging technologies from 2017. We were asked to create real-time visualisations of data captured from the audience wearing biometric wristbands produced by Studio XO. The data would reveal changes in audience mood as they watched a specially produced film featuring emotional moments from the BBC archive.

Tekja co-founder Amanda presented the visualisations on stage, revealing the surge in emotion for some audience members – who later self-identified and were interviewed on stage.
