Tekja worked with game makers Free Ice Cream to develop a data-driven live interface that allows participants to input their views on how to allocate resources and implement policies to meet the sustainable development goals.
The output is a mobile application and series of three large touch screen installations showcasing an interactive data visualisation that reveals the contribution of the audience in real-time, painting a picture of collective audience views and opinions.
The installation was exhibited at the Global Festival of Ideas for Sustainable Development – an event that gathers hundreds of leading thinkers, policy-makers, business leaders and civil society activists from over 80 countries to chart new thinking and action on the world’s biggest challenges.
